About me:
My mother came from a large family (11 kids) and most of them are involved in the food industry in some way. My mother was voted the best cook of them all (over 100 cousins, aunts, uncles and their spouses voted). I was lucky enough to get that gift from her.

Over the Fire Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed on Jul. 26, 2008 by Tami
This is a good recipe. I changed mine up... made it a little differently. I used frozen diced potatoes, diced onion & green pepper, cheddar cheese soup, butter, garlic, medium sharp cheddar, sea salt, garlic, paprika, fresh cracked pepper, parsley & foil over an 8x8 baking pan on the grill. Everybody loved it. Thanks! :)

OREO® and Fudge Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed on Jul. 26, 2008 by Tami
The dessert assembled quickly. I layed freezer paper in a loaf pan and then assembled the dessert, then turned it over and pulled off the paper and put the topping on it when I was ready to serve it. I added chopped pecans, extra creamy Cool Whip, a few more Oreos and Smuckers hot fudge topping. While I don't think it was comparable to famous chain ice cream cakes, it was good. A big hit with the hubby and our boys. :)
